Exhausted is an understatement!
So, it is no surprise that I have not been updating my little blog as much as I probably should....well there has been a LOT happening in the Dubya household.......
Abby is turning 7 this month, wow..where in the heck did the time go?! She has blossomed into such a beautiful, smart little girl and I am super happy to be her Momma <3
She has been having a dilemma lately about eating meat, anybody who knows her knows that she is a sensitive child and keys into some odd details about life. Anywho, she was telling me the other day that she really likes the taste of meat but she doesn't like that an animal died.

Well, what can you say in a moment like that?! I mean, our entire family eats meat...always has, but I admit that I have flirted with the idea of going full-on Vegan multiple times due to the ethical side of things...but it has never been something that I have carried through with. But I never voiced my own struggles with this subject to anybody but my Husband...so I was amazed that she was bringing this topic up. Of course, I responded the best I could at that moment (dontcha know I have the perfect response to her now?!) but I just told her that I knew how she felt and that she does not have to eat meat if she does not want to, we could experiment and try out some yummy vegetarian food. I am still not sure how she feels about my proposed diet change yet.
We had an earthquake here in NorCal yesterday, and it scared the bajeesus out of Addy, I did not feel a thing...but I blame that on the fact that I had earbuds in dancing around on the first floor...lol...but the next thing I knew the dogs were going berserk and Addy was running towards me screaming "Momma a Monster!!!!!" then within minutes the news was blowing up with the earthquake facts.
Which made me realize, I have seriously lived in a place prone to and experienced almost every natural disaster there is to experience (well of course I have not seen a Volcano...ok you got me there!). I lived through Hurricane Katrina, experienced blizzards in the North, had tornadoes in the Midwest and now live on the West Coast and have felt several earthquakes....not that this is a bragging right, but it is pretty cool huh?
I did something that I have not done in YEARS last Friday, and that was an Interview. I was nervous as all get-out which is crazy because I absolutely have no hang-ups about being around people and chatting their ears off! I think I was nervous about it because I actually do want the job, I would give anything almost for that job. It was the perfect fit for me...6-3PM M-F from home with full benefits...how can you beat a telecommuting position?!
